We are looking for an Enterprise Data Specialist for our client in New York, NY
Job Title: Enterprise Data Specialist
Job Type: Contract
Job Description:
Pay Range: $60hr - $65hr
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define and document data architecture and modeling requirements.
- Architect and design enterprise data warehouse solutions, sourcing data from Insurance, Reinsurance Policy, Treaty, Claim, and Financial systems.
- Design and implement optimized source-to-target mappings for high-volume data integration.
- Create logical and physical data models and implement them on SQL Server platforms.
- Work with development teams to translate mappings into code accurately.
- Develop strategies for data collection and ingestion, writing SQL solutions to validate data accuracy.
- Analyze and design enterprise data models for optimal reporting and support reporting teams in utilizing the warehouse effectively.
- Participate in release planning and validate changes post-deployment.
- Develop SQL Server views for reporting and dashboards.
- Troubleshoot and optimize SQL, Informatica mappings, and stored procedures.
- 10+ years of data architecture and design experience, including extracting data from source applications into enterprise data warehouses.
- 3+ years of experience in the Insurance and Reinsurance domains.
- Advanced experience in extracting data from insurance applications.
- Deep knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL, and BI architectures, concepts, and frameworks.
- Experience creating and tuning Semantic layer reporting views.
- Ability to facilitate data discovery sessions with business subject matter experts.
- Expertise with RDBMS platforms (SQL Server, DB2) and generating DDL.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center, Guidewire Claims Center, SAP FS-CD, and SAP FI-GL applications.
- B.S. Degree in Computer Information Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
