CENTRAL TECHNOLOGY SERVICES – Enterprise Managed Services
Title: Enterprise Network Analyst
Under general direction, the incumbent is responsible for supporting moderately complex tasks relating to network infrastructure, operations and administration. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilizes and monitors communication management applications to ensure networking solutions meet performance and availability goals.
Configures, maintains, administrates and troubleshoots all network, wireless, video conferencing, and Internet Protocol television (IPTV) infrastructures and solutions.
Responds to user requests and incident reports by providing troubleshooting expertise and problem resolution.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited educational institution; and
A minimum of five (5) years of related work experience supporting large enterprise network environments including implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrade and operation of routers and switches is required.
Knowledge of networking, computer principles and voice communications equipment is essential.
Knowledge of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc.) spanning-tree, VLANs, 802.1q and access list.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint, Visio etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must have the ability to implement and troubleshoot complex wide area networks.
Valid driver's license (Texas upon hire).
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and/or move boxes and equipment as needed.
Subject to kneeling, crouching, handling, climbing, walking, sitting, twisting and reaching are needed to perform the essential functions.

Technical Certifications in networking.
Experience leveraging What's Up Gold, Solar Winds or any other network monitoring solution.
Experience with Cisco and Alcatel Lucent Enterprise networking infrastructure and Aruba wireless.
40 Hours per Week / Monday – Friday
Works more than forty hours during the workweek, weekends or 24 hours On-Call when special projects or deadlines need to be met
