Job Description

BUSINESS ANALYST


This is an internal delivery role that is responsible for client delivery. As a Business Analyst, you'll work directly with the project team to define client requirements and translate them into the creation of epics, user stories with acceptance and testing criteria.

Job Overview

The Business Analyst provides consultative expertise in one or more business process areas to encourage alignment with modern best practices, suggest automation opportunities, identify compliance requirements, proactively assure organizational growth, in every possible way, and support the client on the best possible path for successful initiative outcomes and delivery.

Responsibilities and Duties • Client Project:
o Work with the supporting technology teams and customers to develop user stories, develop
test scripts, conduct testing, participate in migrations, deliver training, update relevant
documentation, and provide early-live support when the process and/or supporting technology
changes are introduced.
o Analyze new use cases and work with architecture on proof of concepts / solutions
o Support discussions among multiple stakeholders to resolve issues or suggest middle-of-theroad solutions
o Gather business requirements and translate them into workable solution specifications and
documents (Requirements, Stories, Process Flows/Maps, etc)
o Support Key Performance Indicators for every effort
o Develop and/or Deliver End User Testing or Training
o Closely support the Business Process Consultant
• Areas of Focus:
o Define industry and client specific business processes and identify opportunities for business
process optimization
o Build upon existing expertise to cover additional areas of platform or business processes
• Nurture Client Relationships:
o Develop close, trusted relationships with assigned client representatives
o Be available, as needed, for client or project team sessions

o Quickly identify client discord and raise to project team leadership
o Ensure that all client needs are fully met and that the client is introduced to all internal parties
who may be required to serve such needs
• Delivery Development:
o Create templated delivery materials (functional guides, workshop decks, training materials, etc)
and train staff on new or improved methodologies
o Coach, train, or mentor junior delivery resources
• Sales & Marketing Support:
o Identify potential sales opportunities that arise during client engagements
o Support Sales and Marketing initiatives, as needed
o Offer Pre-Sales Support, as needed

• Professional Experience
• 5 years of leadership experience in technology, industry, or software/platform-related areas
• 1-3 years working with/directly for C-level executives
• 1-3 years of Organizational Change Management / Enablement
• Some mix of the following preferred:
• 1-3 years of Consulting Experience
• 1-2 years of ServiceNow Platform (or other software) experience
