This is an internal delivery role that is responsible for client delivery and supporting internal maturity.

Job Overview

The Business Process Consultant is a senior level professional and thought leader who provides consultative expertise in one or more business process areas to encourage alignment with modern best practices, suggest automation opportunities, identify compliance requirements, proactively pursue/lead organizational growth, in every possible way, and lead the client on the best possible path for successful initiative outcomes and delivery. The Strategic Advisor may work on one client initiative or maintain the relationship across an overarching blueprint/roadmap program to guide a client to ultimate success.

Responsibilities and Duties
Following are the general responsibilities and duties of this job.

• Client Project:
o Lead functional discovery and functional process workshops / working sessions
o Provide advisory sessions to tackle tough challenges in the areas of focus
o Design bespoke processes that help our clients overcome obstacles and achieve organizational
o Lead discussions among multiple stakeholders to resolve issues or suggest middle-of-the-road
o Gather business requirements and translate them into workable solution specifications
(Requirements, Stories, Process Flows/Maps, etc)
o Establish Key Performance Indicators for every effort
o Develop and/or Deliver End User Testing or Training
o Manage Client Escalations / Resolutions
o Adapt, respond, advise, on the fly, as scenarios arise

• Areas of Focus:
o Define industry and client specific business processes and identify opportunities for business
process optimization
o Build upon existing expertise to cover additional areas of platform or business processes
• Nurture Client Relationships:
o Develop close, trusted relationships with assigned client representatives
o Be available, as needed, for client counseling or guidance
o Quickly identify client discord and proactively solving any risks before they turn into issues or
o Ensure that all client needs are fully met and that the client is introduced to all internal parties
who may be required to serve such needs
• Delivery Development:
o Create templated delivery materials (functional guides, workshop decks, training materials, etc)
and train staff on new or improved methodologies
o Coach, train, or mentor junior delivery resources
• Sales & Marketing Support:
o Identify potential sales opportunities that arise during client engagements
o Support Sales and Marketing initiatives, as needed
o Offer Pre-Sales Support, as needed
The following comprise the basic qualifications that we seek in a candidate – while a mix of these credentials is
important, not all noted are required.
• Education level
• Some mix of the following preferred:
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience welcome

• Professional Experience
• 5 years of leadership experience in technology, industry, or software/platform-related areas
Working with/directly for C-level executives
Organizational Change Management / Enablement

Consulting Experience
• 1-2 years of ServiceNow Platform (or other software) experience
• Some background with Organizational Transformation and/or Advisory Consulting
• Professional Background
• A strong mix of the following, preferred:
• Business Process Consulting & / or Prior IT Supervisory or Management Role
• Familiar with Best Practice and Processes in focal area
• Corporate, Federal/Government, Industry Expertise
• Project or Engagement Management
• Role relating to Software Delivery
• Client-Facing/Client Account Management
• Startup or Company Growth Mode
