Job Description

The Corporate Tools and Services team is responsible for ensuring that our Enterprise Content Management Services (FileNet) platform is available for service and can support the demands placed upon it from across the client Enterprise.  We are looking for a candidate with strong SQL and Websphere skills.   The ideal candidate would be skilled at working with FileNet Content and Workflow engines as well as supporting components such as IBM Content Collector and Enterprise Records.  However,  if you are willing to learn a new skill, training can be provided specific to Filenet.



  • Handle escalated support issues
  • Execution and monitoring of system utilities
  • Evaluate IBM Patches and Fixes as needed for potential implementation
  • Continuous evaluation of ECM infrastructure components to ensure system resiliency and health
  • Work with architecture, business and delivery teams to determine strategic direction for ECM space
  • Help users develop and/or enhance reports for meaningful platform and application metrics
  • Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive processes increasing efficiency
  • Orchestrating cross infrastructure team work groups to resolve or enhance system performance, incidents and maintenance
  • Educate the team on new updates
  • Communicate and collaborate with other application support teams technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions
  • Monitor system usage for compliance
  • Administer, monitor and maintain system security
  • Research and keep current on ECM technologies and communicate trends and future needs from a business perspective
  • Build client trust and respect, establish client relationships, and develop rapport with client
  • Participate and engage in all team meetings
  • Document best practices and operational procedures
  • Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment



  • Working knowledge of WebSphere Application Servers
  • Working knowledge of SQL Databases
  • Ability to own and drive to resolution
  • Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls, Skype, face-to-face)
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and on multiple assignments at once
  • Experience functioning & executing work in a fast-paced iterative environment such as Agile
  • Demonstrate initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quickly
  • Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to guide / mentor other Administrators and troubleshoot issues
  • Authorized to work in the United States with or without sponsorship.
