Duration: 12+ Months Contract


  • As a Financial Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial management processes for clients.
  • You will provide billing support, contract commitment support, transactions support, and financial reporting.
  • You will coordinate efforts with the Customer and Service Management organizations to identify and resolve billing issues that impact the financial management of the account (i.e., aging, credits).
  • Reviewing customer contracts to ensure compliance for all billing and financial related activities and financial service level agreements.
  • Coordinating and matrix managing multiple internal organizations and external customers to drive resolution of any client impacting issues with a sense of urgency.
  • Developing billing flows to ensure Customer's Services are installed and integrated to the appropriate billing platforms.
  • Identifying and implementing billing process improvements.
  • Tracking and trending accounts payable and credits due.
  • Overseeing first invoice reviews for newly established Services to confirm contract rate treatment versus invoice amount. Facilitating resolution of open billing or credit action items.
  • Presenting billing invoice along with contract terms and conditions for new contracts and services or changes in existing services to show the correlation between the documents.
  • Providing escalation support to monitor on time completion of payables, billing processes and other related financial transactions.
  • Managing customer requirement and financial aspects of complex or non-standard moves, adds, changes, disconnects or other transactions requiring detailed system knowledge.
  • Performing financial management for accounts payable activities including working with customer and financial services to verify payment arrangements, confirming payments on invoices, settlement negotiation status and interfacing with financial organizations for resolution of issues, as required.
  • Managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of supplier groups Centers of Excellence (CoE) including Ordering, Billing & Network Assurance)
  • Maintains regular communication with assigned customer contacts to understand and manage financial services expectations
  • Proactively develops & maintains existing client relationships
  • Understands Contracts and defined KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and implements action plans when metrics fall below agreed targets
  • Provide oversight of client financial management metrics to ensure client contractual commitments are met
  • Maintain Financial Management focused Open Action Item logs and Continual Service Improvement register
  • Identify opportunities within the base that can defend and drive new revenue growth
  • Develop, execute and maintain the Continuous Service Improvement Plan

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • ITIL v3 Certification, or obtained within 6 months of start date.
  • Willingness to be on call for after hours support as needed.
  • Worked in a client facing role and resolved operational problems.
  • Managed and negotiated with internal and external organizations.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels of leadership.
  • Prior Project Management experience and/or skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office product suite, including PowerPoint, Excel & Word
