The Process Analysts primary focus is to focuses on providing functional/technical support for financial system enhancements and major upgrades. Work in partnership with the Finance Department, identifies opportunities for improvement, provides functional support for enhancement requests, and acts as a liaison between the Finance and Financial Information Systems teams. Also support functional configuration, implementation, and development activities for financial application environments.
Job Responsibilities: •Strong working experience in Oracle R12 financial modules with solid communication, coordination and project planning capabilities. •Responsible for the design, implementation, measurement and improvement of global Finance business processes. •Analyze and evaluate current process and systems, benchmark best practices and recommend improvement solutions. •Ensures strong working relationship with key business function users and management. •Understand the emerging technology and upgrade features for each process. •Ensure functional and system design specifications meet established architectural standards. •Work with Solutions architects in identifying system weaknesses and recommend solutions. •some travel might be required, est. 2x/yr
Qualification •Bachelor’s degree required, with preferred areas of study: Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration or a field related to the application Financial Management •3-6 years of work experience required with Oracle Applications R12 financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Manufacturing Cost, Project Cost, and Tax. •3-6 years of finance/accounting experience or knowledge preferred. •Exposure to downstream modules, Order Management and Inventory preferred. •Packaged application integration and customization (3rd-party purchased applications) preferred. •Proficiency with SQL based queries preferred.
Possible occasional 5% travel. Will consider H1 transfer.
