Job Description


The Global Director of HRIS is responsible for driving forward the selection, development and integration of all HR and payroll systems with particular emphasis on maximizing the ROI of Oracle PeopleSoft HRM. Will work closely with global leads and IT to coordinate multi-country deployment including resolution of issues and risks and managing the build of training and communications. This role will require travel internationally.

Responsibilities

* Work with senior stakeholders and IT to ensure that business solutions are efficiently delivered, leading change management

* Drive the development and effective use of PeopleSoft to deliver efficient business processes, management information and analysis and maximize functionality

* Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the global HR operational functions and business needs for all HR processes

* Collaborate with IT regarding the upgrade and development of HR systems striving to minimize customization and adapting business processes as necessary

* Create, implement and maintain HRIS security policies and practices that support business needs. Regularly review and maintain audit reports

* Develop and implement global best practices for data entry and report criteria design in PeopleSoft, and other globally used HR software, to deliver effective data tracking and global reporting capabilities to meet business needs

* Work with the HR team to develop key HR metrics and analyses to support transparency, facilitate discussion of business process improvements and recommend related initiatives

* Provide leadership to the Global HRIS team by establishing goals, assigning responsibility, setting priorities, monitoring deadlines and reporting progress

* Maintain alignment of HRIS efforts with the goals and objectives of HR leaders to implement global working practices and internal procedures/practices that support the HRIS strategy

* Support projects by developing and implementing a flexible change management methodology/ framework for the delivery of projects, working closely with IT for integration into the existing IT change management process

* Manage and build relationships with third-party suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies and ensure that service level agreements are established and met

* Develop relationships with business services departments to understand and deliver source of record HR data ensuring the efficiency of interfaced applications such as Aderant, Blue Pages and ViDesktopQualifications

* Bachelor-s degree or equivalent experience required

* 7 years minimum PeopleSoft experience required

* Minimum 7 years global HR operations and HRIS systems experience required

* Extensive experience with PeopleSoft, Project Management and must have worked on full life cycles of HRIS implementations

* Experience managing cross regional teams and complex projects required

* Experience within legal or professional service firms preferred

* Experience of re-engineering work processes required

* Strong background with macros, Excel and Microsoft Office experience required, experience with XML and SQL preferred

* Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills

* Ideally have experience working in a matrix environment with a full range of HR systems

* Be comfortable acting as an adviser and presenting to senior stakeholders on a global platform

* Able to effectively manage and mentor team members
