Position Description :

The Global Head of Partner Enablement and Success is responsible for two major areas:

  • The development, implementation management, and delivery (to a limited extent) of the formal Global Partner Enablement Program, to include Post Sales, Pre-Sales and Sales Training and Accreditation. This person will have prior experience in the domain of instructional design/e-learning to ensure competency in driving program content build and delivery (e.g., comprehension of learning objectives and how to achieve in context of curriculum.)
  • This person will work with the SVP of Alliances and Channels to define the Global Partner Enablement Strategy.
  • The Global Head of Partner Enablement and Success will align and collaborate with all internal IBI organizations involved with developing and delivering Sales, Pre-Sales and Post-Sales training and accreditations for IBI employees, IBI Customers and IBI Partners to ensure consistency, cross training and reusability of training assets and vehicles.
  • This role will be responsible for ensuring content is updated, defining and updating training policies, reporting on enablement metrics and managing the day to day usage by partners.
  • Responsibilities include supporting the onboarding/training of new partners, as well as driving ongoing, continuous improvement of the Partner Ecosystems skills and competencies.
  • This role will also be responsible for limited delivery of training to partners.
  • Contribution to partner success in customer projects delivered and managed by partners. This position requires IBI consultant-equivalent skills, with a working level of technical product expertise, excellent communication skills and previous project delivery or partner post-sales enablement experience.
  • This position is responsible for improving the efficiency and impact of partner-led IBI engagements. This person will work with IBI Support, IBI Professional Services and IBI Cloud Operations to define and manage processes for triaging calls from partners and providing partners with implementation support.
  • This role will define best practices and contribute to the technical or product guidance to partners required prior to customer go-live. The person will be responsible for ensuring the partner-led implementation methodology is well-defined and adhered to by partners by establishing a universally followed program.
  • This role will work closely with the Cloud Operations Implementation teams to define, manage and deliver partner processes to ensure good bilateral communication, clarity into project schedules and milestones, and efficient use of IBI resources by partners who are doing IBI on-premise and cloud implementations.
  • This position will work with IBI Support, IBI Professional Services and IBI Cloud Operations to define an efficient escalation process for partners during partner-led implementations. This person will work with IBI post-sales resources to evaluate, prioritize, resolve and close out escalations.
  • This role is also a resource for partners as they work with their customers to upgrade from an older to current version of IBI, or migrate from on-premise to the cloud.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage the portfolio of Partner Sales, Pre-Sales and Post Sales/Delivery Training and Accreditation offerings including all new and upgraded content offerings and associated documentation
    • Build curriculum and manage portfolio of partner enablement programs / related assets in accordance with industry standards e.g. ADDIE
    • Design and deliver enablement content that are aligned with specified learning objectives
    • Provide administrative support to the Partner Training and Accreditation Program issue resolution, tracking and reporting training and accreditation data, assigning certificates and logos, establishing and enforcing enablement policies
    • Deliver selective and/or custom training to partners around the world
    • Define and manage the partner-led implementation methodology
    • Monitors partner projects with hands-on involvement in the evaluation and, to a limited extent, the resolution of partner projects and issues.
    • Guide and advise partners on migrations, upgrades, methodology, best practices, future releases and fix packs
    • Serve as a conduit for partners to influence technology direction for IBI Product Management and IBI Cloud Ops based on field experience and lessons learned from project implementations
    • Establish business processes on how partners should work with IBI on customer request for customizations and support escalations
    • Based on working experience with the partners, flag any deficiency in partner training and enablement to ensure partner success

      Candidate Skills and Characteristics:

      • Understanding and experience in adopting a blended approach to delivery e.g. instructor-led, e-learning/self-paced, etc. to achieving learning objectives as defined by enablement program
      • Knowledge and track record in developing and managing accreditation or certification programs
      • Experience delivering training preferred
      • Strong team player who is influential and builds good relationships across all functions
      • Excellent project management skills with an ability to prioritize, work cross-functionally, and delegate tasks when appropriate
      • Experience working with partners highly desirable
      • Ability to create strategy, build a plan, engage proper team and support, and execute to results.
      • Detailed and responsive professional who enjoys working on a high performance team.
      • Outstanding written, presentation and oral communication skills and proven ability to influence externally and internally.
      • Ability to proactively collaborate with remote and virtual teams in distributed, international environments both internal and external.
      • Demonstrated bias for action and sense of urgency; ability to move projects forward and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
      • Demonstrated ability to work with and manage relationships with customers and partners at a senior management-level
      • Ability to listen actively and think logically, strategically, and tactically to solve complex problems
      • Self-motivated, demonstrating an ability to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner
      • Ability to interact with and influence a wide range of employees, including senior management, and entry level personnel across a wide number of IBI departments.

        Position Requirements:

        REQUIRED:

        • 5 + years successful hands-on experience developing and managing enablement programs especially in the delivery phase in an enterprise software company
        • 10+ years in consulting, support or delivery role
        • Previous exposure to BI/Analytics and Data Management applications and related business processes. Prior exposure to IBI applications a plus.
        • 5+ years of applications implementation and support experience in SaaS companies
        • Bachelors degree in Data Science, Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
        • Masters degree or higher a plus, especially an MBA
        • Experience with cloud-based application software (configuration, installation, etc.) with solid understanding of technical architecture, systems administration experience (e.g., domains, business rules, notification concepts, reporting).
