Job Description

Our client needs a Go Developer for a long-term opportunity.  Your primary focus will be on developing Go packages and programs that are scalable and maintainable. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.  The position is 100% remote with preference given to Eastern and Central time zones.  The initial assignment is 6M+ with extensions likely.  Compensation is DOE. 

Critical skills include:

  • Extensive experience working from use case through deployment in cloud environment.
  • Experience building scalable, cloud-based applications.
  • Strong experience with development using GO/ Golang.
  • Design and Develop REST, RPC and messaging based software infrastructure and APIs.
  • Design and develop low latency/high throughout server infrastructure components to handle a large volume of transactions.
  • Leverage deployment automation tools (Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Conduct automated testing and validation, including development & delivery of test automation use cases.
  • Have expertise in implementing microservices (using tools and technologies for messaging, RPC, containerization, etc.).
  • Expertise with inter microservice communication using message bus (Kafka, Pulsar, etc).
  • Experience with API Development using Golang.
  • Experience with API documentation using Swagger and Golang.
  • Experience working with SQL databases, ability to write complex queries and optimize them.
  • Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes,).
  • Basic experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Gitlab, etc).
  • Basic experience working with AWS/Azure.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
