As a ViaSat Business Development Manager, you will be a member of a team responsible for the business development sales and marketing for the Cyber Security business within the Secure Network Systems Business Area. You will work on varied issues that require in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. You will also lead on significant initiatives. The goal is to establish and increase the market share by establishing strong relationships with customers and strengthening relationships with current eco system partners. Our customer set includes financials, healthcare, high tech enterprise, regulated markets (utilities, oil, gas, etc.) federal, and DoD/military customers that purchase cyber security equipment and services. Requirements
Bachelor s Degree preferably in a technical discipline or technical marketing/business discipline.
10+ years of business development experience (Fortune 500 enterprise customer and/or partner experience preferred).
Verifiable track record of identifying and penetrating Fortune 500 IT enterprises and/or regulated markets and increasing sales.
Ability to educate customers on the use of our products, technology, and services and the advantages ViaSat offers.
Experience in support of marketing analytics, monitoring competitive activity and identifying customer needs.
Proven ability to provide support in the planning, designing, and implementation of business plans.

Ability to travel up to 50% or more, including some international travel.
Preferences
Experience with Infrastructure, transport and network/ cloud architecture market trends.
Some knowledge of security technologies (encryption), products and services.
Understanding of the process to find, vet customer problems and determine solutions and options.
Work with technical support and engineering to identify opportunities and their requirements.
Leverage and establish Federal, DOD, IC customer relationships to understand problems and determine solutions.
Possess a secret clearance.
