Position Responsibilities and Relationships

This position has direct responsibility in the following key areas:
  • The candidate will be participating in defining the next generation Record to Report system strategy- roadmap and driving the execution globally.
  • Lead pipeline assessment process for the review and prioritization of all global projects
  • Will successfully deliver high profile- global projects delivering business processes supported by technology in the areas including but not limited to Financial Accounting- Project Systems- Fixed Assets- Accounts Receivable- Accounts Payable- Overhead accounting- Product Costing- Financial Planning- Consolidations- Treasury- Tax and Reporting.
  • Drive change within a complex organization- gaining alignment with multiple stakeholders across different geographies
  • Direct and control financial planning- budgeting- and reporting while liaising with the PPM team
  • Will lead integration conversations across processes with Sales- Manufacturing- Logistics- Customer service and other areas of the organization.
  • Drive gap resolution process in close cooperation withGlobal Functional Leads and Business Leaders
  • Drive implementation of a strong control environment and robust processes
  • Drive system support for tax and accounting compliance (statutory and US GAAP)

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in IT- Finance or Business) . MBA or MS is preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of SAP functional experience
  • Significant functional knowledge and experience in the multiple Finance modules of SAP
  • Experience with S/4 HANA a plus
  • Demonstrated SAP cross-functional leadership ability
  • Demonstrates familiarity with overall Finance and Accounting business goals and objectives
  • Has led large scale ERP implementations with focus on Finance & Controlling.
  • Able to balance multiple priorities for themselves and their staff
  • Demonstrates flexibility regarding change of assignments- focus- priorities- etc.
  • Able to assess and judge staff skill levels and to delegate appropriately
  • Demonstrates the ability to assimilate new capabilities of SAP products
  • Expectation of up to 25% global travel
