Job Description

Growth Marketing Manager, Conversion Rate Optimization


A leading FinTech company is looking for an extraordinary Conversion Rate Optimization Manager to help promote new user growth through our paid advertising programs. As a member of the growth team, you'll oversee conversion rate optimization across their products. You’ll lead campaign landing page development and testing, leveraging input from brand, product, and the growth team.


  • Build and execute iterative paid landing page test strategy and analysis to improve metrics such as CVR and ROI
  • Find wins and develop best practices that can be scaled across products and across marketing channels
  • Lead every step of test development; hypothesis, landing page content and design, development, test set up, and reporting of results
  • Execute A/B tests in Optimizely and partner with paid media agency to build tests outside of Optimizely
  • Oversee and actively contribute to creative development for new landing pages and messaging. Must be willing to give strong direction to creative resources and execute small design changes
  • Define and own page-level and channel-specific KPIs. Use web traic, site engagement data, and in-product metrics to prioritize opportunities and report on the business impact of your optimization eorts
  • Partner with channel experts to understand channel-specific needs and best practices, and bake them into your test plan; testing will improve paid channels such as Search, Social, Ailiates, and Display
  • Partner with our Product Marketing team to understand all their products, shifting messaging priorities, product feature launches, and qualitative audience insights to develop landing page content that reflects the product experience
  • QA tests and control landing pages to provide a seamless experience
  • Bachelor’s degree

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of CRO/testing experience or a combined 5 years of performance marketing and CRO experience
  • Working knowledge of paid acquisition programs and best practices
  • Extensive experience using landing page builder tools such as Buildio, Unbounce or Instapage
  • Experience using Optimizely, Google Optimize, or other A/B testing tools
  • Basic HTML/CSS, JavaScript experience
  • Have a data-driven mindset and be comfortable using heat mapping tools, Google Analytics, Excel, and Tableau to identify opportunities, monitor performance, and report on progress
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities based on business needs/impact

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, but also can work well and contribute to a diverse team environment
  • Keen problem-solving, troubleshooting, and scrappy approach to finding unique solutions to situations as they arise
  • Creative, generator of new ideas, and deeply curious
  • Subscription and/or fintech experience is a plus
  • Understanding and interest in personal finance and personal finance management tools is a plus
