Guidewire / GOSU Developer - PolicyCenter / Commercial
Location: Michigan / Remote
1-3 year contract opportunity
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configuration of Guidewire Suite Interface screens, primarily in PolicyCenter.
- Modify core engine aspects, OOB features, and screen components for User Interface.
- Work on Underwriting Issues, Activities, Process Workflow, Validations, etc.
- Involved with implementation, integration, upgrade, enhancements, and support.
- Assist with testing, code reviews, defect triage, work arounds, and documentation.
- Collaborate with onsite and offsite Developers, QAs, BAs, Scrum Masters, etc.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum process including stand ups, sprint planning, backlog, etc
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of Guidewire UI/Screen configuration development
- Experience in Commercial Lines
- Guidewire 8.0, 9.0, or 10.0, GOSU and Java/J2EE experience required
- In depth PolicyCenter required, working on core screen rules
- Guidewire Studio/IntelliJ Studio, SOAP/Restful Web Services, XML
- JSON, JavaScript, AngularJS, NodeJS, AJAX, and jQuery
- Apache/Tomcat, WebLogic/WebSphere, or JBoss preferred
- Rally/CA Agile Central or JIRA, Junit or Gunit testing preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree & Guidewire Certification preferred
