Position #1:

Duration:  Contract to hire role; transition period would be 3-4 months
W2 Rate:  OPEN

JOB SUMMARY
Join the client IT Corporate Systems team as Sr. Business Analyst. Be part of the HR IT support organization and play a key role on large initiatives in HR.

ESSENTIAL HCM DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for evaluating product release updates, testing, coordinating deployments
2. Advise HR Business partners on new system functionality and best practices
3. Develop process flows, system flows, and data models using modeling and process tools.
4. Lead small to medium scope projects, facilitate in requirements and design sessions
5. Provide input on processes, procedures, or new approaches
6. Present problem analysis and recommended solutions in a creative and logical manner.
7. Configure and prototype system functionality
8. Maintain security
9. Create and maintain reports
10. Develop test plans and conduct QA activities.
11. Conduct training.
12. Maintain integrations
13. Troubleshooting and issue resolution
14. Support and lead other HCM technology initiatives.
15. Update management on project/activity status

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business management, systems development or related area or the equivalent through a combination of education and work experience.
• Five to seven years’ experience as a business analyst and/or project manager in an information technology environment.
• Recognized as a SME in systems supported.
• Must possess experience with Workday HCM.
• Experience in data and process modeling of business requirements and use of process modeling tools.
• Knowledge of relational database concepts.
• Knowledge of the systems development life cycle.
• Exposure to client/server and/or web development.
• Technical expertise in database design.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.
• Demonstrated decision making, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Effective time management and organization skills with the ability to successfully handle multiple large projects.
• Strong facilitation skills.
• Experience using software applications such as Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio.

Preferred
• Subject Matter expertise in the some of the following areas- Hiring/On-boarding, Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation.
• Experience migrating from on premise HCM applications (Benefits, Payroll, Core HR, Compensation, Talent) to a Cloud solution.
• Data conversion experience is a plus.

Project Duration: 8-10 months, possible extension

Client is seeking an experienced consultant to join our Workday implementation, supporting the Talent work stream.

ESSENTIAL HCM DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business management, systems development or related area or the equivalent through a combination of education and work experience.
• Five to seven years’ experience as a business analyst and/or project manager in an information technology environment.
• Recognized / Certified as a Workday Talent SME.
• Must possess 3+ years’ experience with Workday HCM Talent Implementations for multiple clients.
• Experience in data and process modeling of business requirements and use of process modeling tools.
• Knowledge of the systems development life cycle.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.
• Demonstrated decision making, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Effective time management and organization skills with the ability to successfully handle multiple large projects.
• Strong facilitation skills.
• Experience using software applications such as Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Participate in implementation lifecycle tasks- Design, Build/Configuration, Testing, Deployment
2. Write test plans and test cases in compliance with relevant organizational and industry standards.
3. Maintain and update test documentation, user guides, release notes, and help notes to ensure accuracy of applications and related documentation.
4. Executes end-to-end functional tests and utilizes automated tests developed by others to exercise system. Collaborates to achieve end-to-end product and process quality.
5. Information, analysis and recommendations to support the product.
6. Understands the business needs the product is trying to meet and applies this understanding to guide testing. Applies a comprehensive understanding of the product functions and the marketplace in which it is sold effectively test assigned products
