Description:   Our client is in growth mode and has an excellent opportunity for a HRIS Technical Specialist.  This technical specialist will work in a project-oriented, fast-paced technical role supporting our multi-site/state client HR partners through our technology platform.  This is a highly specialized role requiring technical acumen, project management and organizational skills.  This role will be focused on servicing clients and client leadership groups (both prospective and current).  A successful individual in this position will become a knowledgeable liaison between the company and a multitude of clients and vendors.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Serves as support to Vice President of Human Resources to accomplish company initiatives including being technical point of contact for both internal staff and external client HR partners
  • Responsible for the technical functions of new client setup and implementation  
  • Provides ongoing HRIS support to include identifying, researching or resolving problems, performing scheduled maintenance activities and recommending solutions for operating efficiency 
  • Innovates ways to optimize departmental performance and enhance client experience through technical systems
  • Help in developing standard and custom reports for internal and client HR partner needs
  • Assists in preparation of technical documentation for new client implementations
  • Create and maintain process documentation for various HR systems and technologies for both internal and external users
  • Train new systems users and client HR partners on processes and functionality
  • Conducts internal training programs for departmental personnel with associated documentation 
  • Creates internal system auditing process for cross departmental auditing of system setup and data integrity
  • Participates in technical projects such as meetings, communications, etc…

 

Qualifications:

  • Expert in current HRMS with concentration in development
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to communicate with client HR partners, employees and all levels of management and ownership in a consultative and relationship building manner
  • Ability to handle difficult clients, employees and situations
  • Ability to set priorities and manage several projects simultaneously
  • Ability to be successful under tight deadlines
  • Ability to understand conceptual processes and compose into written word
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Advanced organizational, administrative record keeping and time management skills
  • Wide degree of critical thinking and creativity
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal skills

Technical skills:

  • Proficient in the use of HRIS systems, SharePoint, Time/Attendance and MS Office programs
