JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Business Analysis:

  • Develops and modifies documentation related to complex projects and information systems under no supervision
  • Acts independently to determine appropriate methods and procedures on new or special assignments
  • Serves as technical lead on Business Analysis projects
  • Provides business analysis strategy for a client and develops multi-year business analysis approach on programs
  • Coordinates and plans all the tasks required for business analysis and implementation
  • Evaluates new technologies for solving technical problems
  • Provides recommendations on technologies and solutions to existing business analysis issues
  • Prepares conceptual technical solution based on business requirements
  • Applies in-depth Business Analysis knowledge to review and analyze systems problems to identify solutions and ensure quality
  • Leverages expertise to offer advice on process improvements and technical solutions, leveraging specialty experience
  • Uses cases, workflow diagrams, and gap analysis to create and/or modify requirements documents and design specifications
  • Analyzes user requirements and client business needs using standard procedures
  • Identifies and manages scope of changes based upon clients’ requirements

 

General:

  • Excellent understanding of the business analysis project lifecycle and practices
  • Expert in Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and can demonstrate strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, best practices and procedures, and applies them to projects to ensure business analysis objectives are achieved
  • Adheres to CNSI CMMI standards and process level improvements
  • Proven and demonstrated interest in the technology innovations and trends

 

 

 

Customer:

  • Works with customers on presenting technical solutions for complex business functionalities
  • Unwavering commitment to customer service and operational excellence
  • Provides customer support through leading client demos and presentations
  • Will be customer facing
  • Keeps abreast on new technology and market developments and suggests adoption of new technologies and tools to improve quality of business analysis deliverables (including federal regulations)

 

Talent Development:

  • Establishes exceptional working relationships with team members and management

  • Conducts knowledge transfer sessions and technical seminars to other team members

  • Guides junior Business Analysis staff with industry standards and best practices

  • Provides advanced technical/test guidance and mentoring to Business Analysis team and serves as a mentor to less experienced business analysts

  • Trains Business Analysis team and cross-functional technology teams on new technical concepts

 

 

 

MANDATORY SKILLS:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12+ years of business analysis or related experience

  • Master’s Degree with a minimum of 8+ years of business analysis or related experience

    • Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field

  • Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Experience in healthcare industry

  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience on large complex project
  • Domain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and/or healthcare verticals
  • Provider Management and Enrollment System experience
  • Excellent customer relation skills, including presentation and meeting facilitation
  • Experience facilitating and running JAD, requirements design sessions etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem skills
  • Able to understand business needs, analyze processes, and develop alternative solutions.
  • Excellent requirements elicitation and validation skills
  • Excellent customer relationship and communication skillset
  • Excellent project/task management skills, including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks

 

Nice to have:

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
