The Sales, Marketing, & Underwriting vertical is responsible for attracting new clients and retaining existing clients from enrollment to open membership and throughout any special incentives or regulatory required changes during the membership period. All Sales, Marketing, & Underwriting efforts are supported by a combination of commercial and customized software. We leverage client’s world-class data sources to develop and implement solutions to real-world business problems, particularly in mass mailings, enrollment, membership, claims, billing, and electronic health record data.
These projects will leverage:
Interfacing with databases/data warehouses whether maintained locally or cloud based.
Integrating current Onyx CRM systems with new SalesForce CRM systems.
-20+ year longitudinal electronic health record encompassing over 1.8 million patients
-Extensive longitudinal clinical data on population with low out-migration
-linked to the electronic health record and imaging data
-Extensive healthcare claims database
Supporting these innovation initiatives, the Senior Application Developer will have a broad range of responsibilities such as:
-Building dashboards to audit the implementation success of algorithms
-briefing executives and peers on status of development efforts
-Integrating feedback from clinicians on the algorithms’ successes and failures.
Must have expert knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS), VisualStudio, and the C# programming language. .NET experience is mandatory.
The Senior Application Developer reviews, analyzes, modifies, creates, debugs, designs, and tests applications using modern development methodologies and tools. Provides key insight in design and application architecture discussions. Must be detail orientated, able to do advanced problem solving, understand complex systems and perform thorough problem analysis. Required to maintain continuing education on the ever-changing application development tool sets. Is a key player on a multidisciplinary team and will engage in all aspects of the application development life-cycle as needed for each project to be successful. Works directly with the business to establish project scope and milestones and ensure the project is meeting the business needs. Is expected to be a self-starter, work with minimal supervision, and coach, and lead the work of others.
The ideal candidate will also have experience with one or more of the following:
-Structured Query Language and building complex reports from relational databases.
-Complex CRM solutions such as Onyx, SalesForce, SugarCRM, Really Simple Systems, NetSuite CRM, or Zoho.
-ETL Architecture and database development/optimization or have server scheduling and prioritization.
Typically reports to: a project leader, manager, or director.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer or information science required. Minimum of six years of application development experience required.
Ten years of demonstrated professional success in the area of application development using the specific team technology stack may be considered in lieu of degree/experience requirement.
Requires a good understanding with at least 4 years professional experience in database structure and design and in application development for web, mobile and/or form-based platforms.
Requires strong knowledge and at least 2 years professional experience implementing modern programming concepts including: object-oriented programming, multi-tier application architecture, and unit testing.
Experience with system administration for developing test environments for deployment considered a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
