Job Description

Entry Level Help Desk Technician Apex Systems, the nation's 2nd largest IT Staffing organization, has a high profile opportunity for an entry level Help Desk Technician for one of the fastest growing SaaS companies based in McLean, VA. This is a full time position with benefits.

The Help Desk Technician is responsible for researching, troubleshooting, and resolving internal employee's technical issues, ranging from login errors to computer troubles. Help Desk Technicians are not simply a helpdesk but is also responsible for Incident Response and Management as well as Information Security tasks. You will get hands-on experience solving a variety of IT problems and build a wide foundation of IT skills, such as application monitoring and incident support, and even triaging security questions.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the rest of the members of the IT Help Desk around the world to troubleshoot and close tickets
  • Research and document solutions to technical related problems
  • Maintain and order hardware inventory for your corresponding office
  • Image new laptops and take care of new hires for your corresponding office
  • Assist with asset inventory, auditing and reporting
  • Work with different IT teams such as Networking, Security, Corporate Systems, and CRM to understand our IT systems and help end-users
  • Work with our AV team to audit and maintain conference room hardware / software
  • Monitor Slack channels, help users and other engineers to resolve the issues
  • Deliver stellar customer service to our end-users
  • Be on-call regularly to respond to corporate incidents

Requirements
  • 0-3 years experience in an IT support role
  • Experience with a ticketing system and imaging software
  • Familiarity with Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office 365
