Job Description

Robert Half Technology is actively searching for a Help Desk Analyst to assist local and field users at a premier company in the Real Estate - Other industry. You will excel at solving problems in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment. Due to this role being very visible within the company, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the department and organization. Located in Rockville, Maryland, the Help Desk Analyst opportunity is a short term temporary role.

Major responsibilities

- Offer IT support for Windows, Microsoft Office, and a variety of other applications used internally

- Troubleshoot recurring technical issues and suggest solutions to address the root of the problems

Job Requirements

- Audio/Visual setup and support

- Experience installing and configuring Windows OS, networked and local printers, and business applications

- Experience with Microsoft Office 365

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel

- Proven knowledge of iPad

- Quality experience with VPNs (virtual private networks)

- Microsoft Windows 8 experience

- Solid understanding of Microsoft Outlook

- Good understanding of conference room setup cleanup

- Solid understanding of Active Directory

- Well-founded grasp of TCP/IP

- Prior experience with Microsoft Exchange Server

- Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Word

- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint

- Previous experience working with voice communications

- Earlier work involving conference call coordination

- Comprehension of Microsoft Office

- Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Windows 7 in an Active Directory environment

- Wide ranging experience with network communication

- Proven knowledge of customer service

- Strong familiarity with Microsoft SCCM - System Cntr Config Mgr

- Well-founded grasp of internet protocol

- Expertise in Microsoft Windows

- Skills in navigating basic office equipment and protocols

- Experience with Microsoft Windows Mobile OS

- Practical knowledge of network migration

- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10

- General familiarity with iPhone

- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office XP

- 1+ years of prior experience

- Good understanding of IT support ticketing systems
