Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Tier 1 Help Desk Technician in Fort Gordon, GA to work on a high-profile NGA contract supporting a long term engagement. DoD TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities for the Tier 1 Help Desk Technician include:

• Supporting and troubleshooting IT-related issues for various devices including laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and video teleconferencing software

• Installing and configuring desktop computers as well as peripheral equipment/software

• Connecting computers with a wide variety of systems such as file/email servers, conferencing systems, and validation systems

• Helping with software and Windows updates and resolving any technical issues that arise

Qualifications for the Tier 1 Help Desk Technician include:

• 0-1+ years of Desktop Support or Help Desk Experience

• Experience providing technical support and troubleshooting for IT devices

• IAT Level 2 Certification such as Security+, CCNA, SSCP, GSEC, or GICSP

• Active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance

Compensation for the Tier 1 Help Desk Technician includes:

• Salary Range: $45,000-$65,000 based on experience/job site
