Job Description








The ideal candidate will be independent and proactive; have at least 3 years of desktop or help desk support experience. They must be able to communicate with technical, non-technical and clients, and understand the differences in doing so. Familiarity with support procedures, networking and best practices.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide phone support and resolve technical issues using ticketing systems to manage the process e.g. Atlassian, Jira
  • Service request and incident management for hardware, software, password resets



Requirements:
  • 3 years of enterprise support experience
  • Strengths in interpersonal, communication skills and team work
  • Planning and process oriented
  • Independent, self-driven and highly motivated
  • Willingness to learn, and effectively re-apply concepts
  • Adapting to an ever-changing technology environment



Preferred:
  • Infrastructure/Networking
  • Basic programming and/or scripting
  • Debugging tools and techniques
  • Wiki and ticketing systems (preferably Atlassian Jira and Confluence)
