Job Description:  The successful Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Subject Matter Expert (SME) candidate will provide wide-ranging support for all customer-supported audit activities.


The candidate will participate in the following activities:

  • Provide System Matter Expertise (SME) with regards to ITSM, tools, and processes used in implementing a successful ITSM program in support of  cusotmer Cyber initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Cyber services ITIL Process, Operating Level Agreements (OLAs), and project plans and schedules.
  • Collaborate with service delivery organizations and stakeholders to document Cyber supporting processes.
  • Conduct briefings, technical meetings (internal and external representatives) and serve as a consultant to management on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives.
  • Provide strategic definitions, implementations and recommendations in support of Cyber processes and work instructions.
  • Communicate with all levels of  customer management and function at the strategic level with upper management and across various divisions.
  • Create and maintain customer Cyber communication plans, processes, work instructions supporting the execution of change, manage feedback loops within and across program teams.
  • Manage the customer cyber document approval process until the document is published for use.
  • Provide gap analyses between cyber services current vs. future state conditions.
  • Participate in customer reviews to assist with ensuring process gaps are remediated.
  • Evaluate existing cyber processes and procedures and recommend changes to improve or enhance performance and maintainability.
  • Implement a cyber Quality Assurance Program with quality controls to ensure all aspects of the cyber ITSM Program is continuously monitored for process improvement.
  • Identify, refine, report and monitor cyber performance measurements to include Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Critical Success Factors (CSFs).

Qualifications Clearance:  Secret

Education: Bachelor's degree with major in IT, engineering, science or mathematics

Certifications:     ITIL v3 expert 

Experience:   Five + years of relevant/recent experi- ence implementing ITIL framework, process improvement, and statistics analysis, AND Three + years of relevant/recent experience with Microsoft Office products. i

  • Experience with DISA is highly desired
  • Experience working in an enterprise environment, for example, the WHS, ITA, Joint Service Provider (JSP) Pentagon, or Navy Marine Corps Internet (NMCI)
  • Must have strong critical thinking/analytical skills, creativity, a proven drive for quality, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to stay focused while managing multiple tasks concurrently.
