Heath Technology - IBM InforSphere Information Server Admin - USDC

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

As an IBM InforSphere Information Server Admin you will have multiple responsibilities depending on project scope and deliverables.

* Install, configure, troubleshoot, and deploy IBM IIS in the operational environment on RHEL

* Promote changes created by Developers through the environments and into production

* Write installation and deployment scripts using Bash/Shell/Perl/Python and Jenkins

* Develop and implement Security strategies within technology space to ensure a secure middleware environment

* Perform upgrades and patch installations, Monitor the performance of IIS

* System security patch implementation and vulnerability management, Configure TLS1.2 on Servers

* Maintain system availability and troubleshoot problems, troubleshoot network related issues-not solve them, just narrow down the problem

* Test, tweak and tune various WebSphere settings

* Define, track and maintain system configuration documents and standards

* Work as a technical expert across multiple project assignments

* Active Directory integration




The team

Our Health Technology team implements repeatable solutions to solve our government clients' most critical health technology related issues. We advise on, design, implement and deploy solutions focused on government health agencies "heart of the business" issues including claims management, electronic health records, health information exchanges, health analytics and health case management.

Our clients seek a fresh perspective on how to leverage reusable, interoperable and flexible solutions that will enable them to reduce costs, improve health outcomes and respond to public health crises. Professionals will use their deep health, government and technology consulting experience to strategically help solve our client's technology challenges.




Qualifications

Required:


* 3+ years with Admin experience of IIS Engine, Server & Client components including DataStage, QualityStage, FastTrack, and Information Server Manager

* Admin experience with IIS Console clients including Information Analyzer, Operations console, Information Services Director

* Admin experience with Information Governance Catalogue, Administration on RHEL, Unix Shell Scripts, Jenkins

* SDLC (Waterfall and Agile)

* Extensive experience working in LINUX environments

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Ability to plan and prioritize work and meet project deadlines

* Home office location will be in Orlando, FL Mechanicsburg, PA or Gilbert, AZ

* Travel - up to 30%, if required for specific project work



Preferred

* AWS Certifications are preferred.

* Experience with previous Cloud Managed Services is a plus.
