Job Description

As Cloud Authentication Product Owner, you will be leading a key part of Optum Technology's move to and buildout of public and hybrid cloud environments. This role will be responsible for streamlining and securing cloud identity and adoption within the enterprise. Your leadership role will be accomplished through extensive collaboration with other teams to develop a public cloud authentication strategy and long term roadmap as well as ensuring that a matrixed team of technologists and program team members delivers on that roadmap. The Product Owner is also responsible for ensuring clear process documentation, service level definition, risk levels, financials definition, and clarity of technologist deliverables.This leader must be an experienced Cloud champion and enthusiast promoting and ensuring delivery and effectiveness of our security, identity and authentication investments in Microsoft Azure and AWS. This Product Owner will also be conversant with Identity and Access Management domains including but not limited to Single Sign On, Multi-Factor Authentication, Privileged Access Management, Directories including LDAP and AD, and Crypto / Certificate infrastructures. This individual needs to have experience working on programs of significant scale in collaboration with architecture, developers, engineering and operations. Excellent communication skills, collaboration and and ability to present to C-level stakeholders are also critical.Primary Responsibilities:Lead collaboration with Development, Identity and Access Management, Enterprise Information Security, End User Technology, and M&A Technology to build a strategy and roadmap for enterprise Identity and Authentication in the public cloud space that can serve all stakeholders successfullyBuild the tactical plan, milestones and metrics to deliver the roadmap once builtProvide strategic leadership in cloud security from a program delivery and process approach standpointCommunicate strategic and tactical approach and status to key executive stakeholders at the Director, VP and C-LevelMaintain industry leading knowledge of current and emerging technologies, products, and trends related to Public Cloud SecurityLead a matrixed scrum team including representatives from across IAM including cloud authentication operations, architecture, single sign on, multi-factor authentication, crypto, active directory and privileged access managementLead large scale cloud programs to integrate the IAM services across the enterpriseMonitor / manage vendor performance to ensure solution and deliverables meet operational, compliance, security and financial goalsProvide consulting to business leaders in addressing their cloud access management risk posture and services approachFormally and informally responding to customer and regulatory requests with regard to security services, mechanisms and safeguards (this includes regular communications with regulatory, privacy and legal stakeholders and active participation in both internal and external audit activities)Recommending changes to security policies and control standardsRecommend changes to operational practices relative to Public CloudDemonstrate savvy in understanding the mechanics of business and IT organizations at large scale and leverage that knowledge to get things done expediently

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience3 or more years of experience in leading public cloud adoption, migration or development programs in one of the following platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or Google Cloud8 or more years of progressive knowledge and career growth in software development, information technology infrastructure, or information securityKnowledge of infrastructure, platform, and data security architecturePreferred Qualifications:In-depth understanding of multiple public cloud infrastructures (Microsoft/Amazon/Google) including licensing and cloud-native authentication approach (e.g. Azure Active Directory) for that platformIndustry-specific certifications, including one or more of the following: CCSP, CISSP or CISMVendor-specific certifications, including one or more of the following: Microsoft Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SecurityExperience leading programs in a Fortune 500 large enterprise environmentExperience leading matrixed and geographically distributed teamsDemonstrable collaboration, communication, conflict resolution, and problem solving skillsProduct Owner experience within an Agile framework such as OSAM or SAFeCloud-based application development or development leadership experienceMerger & Acquisition integration experienceTechnology Careers with Optum.
