Technical Support / IT Help Desk
Contract to Hire
Sandy, Utah
Target Pay $18+/hr

Job Summary:
This is supporting Office 365 and Windows 8 & 10 operating systems. Your role is very internal customer facing for all the company locations in Utah and 5 other surrounding states. Small Group (not a call center) of tech support staff. Work in an office onsite 8-5 week-days. Work trouble-tickets for remote users, and also go to 2 other floors of their building and support users at their desk-side, including the C-Suite executives.

Most systems are PC's and their MS Windows operating systems. One small group is MAC.

Company has other groups that you escalate networking, firewall, or server issues.

Required skills:
  • 2+ years technical support experience either deskside and/or onsite (should be somewhat recent)
  • Internal Customer Facing experience within a technical environment
  • Technical troubleshooting experience with both Office 365, and Windows 8 & 10 (mostly 10)
  • Trouble Ticket systems support experience
  • Drivers License
Background check and drug screen prior to start

Desired Skills:
  • ServiceNow ticketing systems experience


Soft Skills
  • Must be an active and patient listener. Must be willing to stay engaged with the internal customer until the technical issue is resolved or escalated. Not a KPI and minimum solved tickets per day environment.

Environment:
  • Right next to a TRAX station drop off / pick up
  • Jeans and a collared shirt. Must be presentable when needed to go to a C-Suite office, or other person's deskside for support work.
  • Caf's, Shopping, and nearby entertainment places
  • Work is onsite at their offices Mon - Fri
  • Cubicles and Offices (not a call center)
    • Sitting and Standing desks
