Job Description

  • The position requires that the individual will be required to assist user in the use of computer desktops and laptops, and mobile devices.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. They must possess sufficient inter-personal skills, which would allow the candidate to effectively assist customers and employees.
  • The candidate will review various reports, monitor remote deposit activities, and assist in the vendor management program.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing computer desktop/laptop and Mobile Device assistance to users.
  • Reviewing various security reports
  • Maintaining IT Asset and License inventory
  • Maintaining IT documentation
  • Assist users with troubleshooting computer and mobile device issues
  • Review anti-virus reports daily
  • Review backup reports daily
  • Perform Remote Deposit Capture Scanner installs and training
  • Perform Online Banking customer service
  • Maintain daily/weekly/monthly security reports
  • Maintain/create software website inventory report
  • Review Remote Deposit Capture monthly reports and monitoring spreadsheets
  • Assist in the Bank's vender management program
  • Track IT department schedules and tasks
  • Train computer users, as applicable
  • Maintain change control documentation

IT Help Desk Technician Responsibilities Include:

  • Serving as the initial point of contact for assistance relating to computer desktops/laptops and mobile devices
  • Providing initial review of security reports
  • Monitoring Remote Deposit Capture and Online Banking activity
  • Assisting in the Bank's vendor management program
  • Maintaining IT documentation and Change Control Documentation
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by the user
  • Respond to queries either in person or remotely

Requirements:

  • Prefer Banking or Financial Services industry operations experience
  • At least one-year experience working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer-oriented
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree
