We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, hands-on IT professional to increase the capacity of our IT Department and better support our growing team.
The Position: IT Manager / Systems Administrator
The IT Manager / Systems Administrator will support and assist in the management of all of our IT infrastructure, IT related training for staff, and troubleshooting of issues related to software, hardware, devices, servers, networks, etc. This includes networks, firewalls, physical servers, virtualization, disaster recovery, redundancies, backups, desktop support, and more. Support will be required for a variety of systems including PC's, Macs, network printers, both VOIP and smart phones, Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS SQL Server, IIS, VMware, PGP encrypted email, as well as a variety of networking equipment including Meraki, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco switches, and related technology. This position works in collaboration with and reports to the Director of IT, overlapping on many responsibilities to ensure sufficient coverage for whatever needs and issues may arise when any one person is unavailable or out of the office. Some after hours and weekend work is expected to best manage these systems and provide the support needed during key organizational deadlines. Experience with a variety of networking and firewall equipment as well as Linux/UNIX knowledge is a plus. Required Education and Experience
At least 5 years experience in IT system and network administration and supporting PCs/Macs, Apple/Android mobile devices, and Windows servers.
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
A proven track record of excellence in this field while enjoying technology and keeping up with new trends and best practices.
Must have a self-motivated, positive, open attitude and a demonstrated ability to work well in teams.
Must have integrity, attention to detail, and a service-oriented mentality.
