Description

The Associate, Business Control- IT Policy Administration, represents the Technology First Line of Defense and is responsible for partnering with functional areas within Technology to develop, update, and manage policies, procedures and other key documentation.
  • Reviews current policies and procedures to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Reviews documentation to ensure completeness, gain feedback from key stakeholders and confirm alignment with enterprise policies.
  • Applies developing knowledge and supports the design, assessment, and/or administration of Technology documentation.
  • Collaborates with teams across the US to assess compliance with policy requirements and develop and track remediation efforts.
  • Interprets regulations with a large degree of independence and suggests methods of updating policies and practices to address any risk concerns.
  • As required, assists subject matter experts (SMEs) in the creation of documentation, including process flows.
  • Develops training on policies and procedures concerning controls and risk management.
  • Reports regularly on the documentation inventory and partners with document owners to drive performance improvements.
  • Partners with Internal Audit, Compliance, and/or Risk Management stakeholders to share information and address issues as needed.
  • Provides thematic analysis of issues for business to identify emerging trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree; Accounting, Business, Statistics, Risk Management, Information Systems, Finance, Economics or equivalent field.
  • Master's Degree; Accounting, Business, Statistics, Risk Management, Information Systems, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 5-9 years;Business Systems Analysis, Technical Writing, Internal Controls, Auditing,relevant IT experience and/or legal or regulatory experience.
  • Ability to build credibility with, collaborate with, and influence line of business executives.
  • Ability to build internal and external networks of information resources within the IT management ecosystem.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external service providers to establish resource requirements, scheduling, assignments and service levels.
  • Ability to constructively work both independently and in collaborative environments involving all levels of management and employees
  • Advanced understanding of the regulatory environment and howIT Policy is viewed by the Second Line of Defense and regulators.
  • Excellent analytical and complex problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the financial services sector.
  • Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.
