This position is a career path to software development. This is a software support position. The trouble ticket volume is low so you will spend time resolving technical issues, not trying to race to see how many tickets you can close in a day. Our client is looking for an applications support engineer to provide software troubleshooting on their proprietary C#.Net applications. This position will include troubleshooting on network, database, software and hardware issues. One primary focus of support for this position will be to ensure the API's of the software are providing a consistent gateway for users to make changes. Therefore, an understanding of Windows based API's and .Net programming will move candidates to the front of the line.
