Job Description

HIRE Technology is seeking a Project Coordinator for a great Fortune company in Houston. This is a 6 month contract to start, with good potential for renewal or future hire. This job is currently 100% remote working.

Project Coordinator / Jr Project Manager:

An administrative professional specialized in managing, coordinating and overseeing of various activities related to planning and executing projects. Specific Job Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Program Managers with organizing and controlling project activities through capturing and tracking risks and issues
  • Monitoring and reporting on the progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Organizing, attending and capturing minutes in stakeholder meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Capturing status and tracking assigned activities due from Initiative Owners (Track Leads) in order to monitor and track project s progress.
  • Preparing/editing meeting minutes, presentations, etc. as required
  • Building & tracking status of the detail plan (tasks) to deliver the initiative. The initiative plan should align with leadership approved Milestones.
  • Tracking leadership approved KPIs and savings per milestones/plan

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-3 years recent working experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Scheduler, Jr Project Manager or similar project management function in an IT environment
  • Familiar with project management concepts
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Attention to details
  • Proactive problem solver

Preferred

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Smartsheet
  • Sharepoint experience
