As a Project Manager III, you will be a member of the bank-s IT Project Office. Project Manager III-s are responsible for developing business cases, constructing project plans to implement solutions, (process improvements, systems, applications), and managing the implementations. These project budgets can exceed $1 million and are typically complex in nature and/or contain significant risk. The Project Manager will leverage in-depth business and technical knowledge to effectively manage projects with greater political implications and/or technology challenges. Typically, these projects involve cultural changes and/or implementing technologies that are brand new, (never done before), in the market place; i.e., the implementation work requires the PM III to formulate unique strategies and contingency plans to ensure success of the project.
Bachelor-s degree with a minimum of 6 years of project management experience.
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years project management experience.
- Financials Industry (Banking) experience managing large complex projects in excess of $1MM that span across multiple Business, Operations, and IT departments.
- Experience in managing projects for core banking systems (Loans, Credit Card, ACH, Deposits, etc).
- Experience in managing a large project team (30+ team members).
- Has proven change management experience in implementing projects that impact multiple areas of the bank (e.g. Branches, Loan Operations, Compliance, Legal, etc.)
- Must possess a PMP certification.
- Understanding of SDLC.
