Job Description


CAI is looking for an IT Security Analyst. CAI needs a security candidate for a 12+ month position located in Norwood, Mass.


We are looking for a Security analyst, with a solid educational background and a focus on security. We provide a rapidly growing and technologically advanced Security Operation Center program, with many ongoing projects in the SOC program. The basic requirements are: 1. Strong understanding of basic computer science: Algorithms, data structures, databases, operating systems, networks, and tool development (not production quality software, but tools that can help you do your job).
2. Strong understanding of IT operations: Help desk, endpoint management and server management.
3. Strong ability to communicate: write clearly and speak authoritatively to different kinds of audiences (business leaders and techies).
4. Strong understanding of adversary Motivations.
5. Strong understanding of security operations concepts: Perimeter defense, BYOD management, data loss protection, insider threat, kill chain analysis, risk assessment and security metrics.
 
The specific job responsibilities, while likely to change over time, are:



  • Insider threat response & remediation.
    Intellectual property protection.
     InfoSec incident response.
    Unauthorized host detection & remediation.
    Secure projects with non-disclosure agreements with private clients.
     secure data monitoring (PII, ITAR, EAR...NIST Standards).
     Removable media trend analysis in support of removable media encryption program.
     Malicious program/URL analysis & defense to populate BeyondTrust blacklist.
     SecureWorks malware detection, tracking, & remediation.
     Monitoring trends & quality control on malware tickets.
    Phishing email investigation, remediation, & corporate training.
     ActiveSync tracking for senior management.
     facilitating security compliance standards for secure project & senior vice president computers.
     Creation of process documentation & run books.
    Advancement & evolution of processes.
    Basic understanding of tools such as Digital Client, ECAT, SecureWorks, BeyondTrust, Aventail, FireEye, Splunk, Solarwinds, Nexpose, Qualys (Internal & External).
