Job Description

Our investment client in NYC is seeking a IT Service Desk Analyst for their team. This person will work part of a team to support a staff of 350 people from CEO to all other users. This person must have strong communication skills and must be polished Level 1 and 2 abilities. 
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support via telephone, email, remote and desk side visits to users and guests.
  • Diagnose and resolve Incidents
  • Log and update the Service desk system with all Incidents that you are working on and involved with.
  • When required escalate Incidents to other teams and third parties.
  • Take ownership of problems and work with suppliers and manufacturers to successful resolution
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems and work to a resolution.
  • Create meaningful Knowledge Articles to benefit both users and IT team members.
  • Handle initial diagnosis and troubleshooting of alerts.
  • Raise change controls for all major changes that you are working on
  • Maintain and update any Asset records that have been changed or move
  • Train and educate both new and existing users through induction and continuous education on all
  • elements of Information Technology.
  • Be actively involved in projects and ensure all project work is done to a high standard
  • A requirement and willingness to perform ad-hoc duties dependent on change in business
  • requirements.
  • Ability to research and investigate new technologies and roadmaps for existing technologies.
  • Support of video conferences and meetings.
 
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Operating Systems and Office 365 Applications.
An ability to learn new applications quickly and effectively.
Understanding of network infrastructure.
Knowledge of Computer hardware and peripherals
Good knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange.
Citrix support experience would be an advantage.
Apple Mac support experience would be beneficial.
Experience supporting various mobile devices.
