This job with the City of Fort Worth requires an experienced manager with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or a related information technology field and five years of increasing responsible experience in communications, security and/or computer operations, including two years of administrative and supervisory responsibility. What We’re Looking For
The City of Fort Worth is looking for a candidate that is a self-motivated professional with a breadth of knowledge relating to network-related equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team with the challenge of having to work on daily tasks and network project assignments simultaneously. They will have the ability to analyze, prioritize, and assign work to team members. They will have experience managing vendor relationships and systems life cycle management. Ideally, they will also have the ability to create high-level design documentation and manage their team as they implement their design. The following are required or preferences:
