Purpose:

The IT Talent Management Analyst will develop a skills inventory & knowledge map, and will manage the complexity and dynamic change of employees, domestic consultants and global delivery partners.

Accountabilities:

  • Identification and assessment of technology management vs service management, and tracking of IT resources.
  • Staffing models; projection (rolling 6 months) of talent needs based on skills and type of work.
  • Track and assess staffing model/plans across IT to ensure IT leaders are executing/tracking against those plans.
  • Turnover aggregation/reporting (by department, skill, location, etc.).
  • Align project demand/forecast (project pipeline) to skill availably (capacity) vs gaps.
  • Assist in creating communities of practice to improve skills/talent of current IT workforce.
  • Conduct skills assessment (experience and knowledge by role/domain), identify gaps and create development plans.
  • Define and maintain technical skills & soft skills for each job family.  
  • Define IT job families, roles, career path, job descriptions (roll-out completed, maintain and adjust as industry changes).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 4+ years of workforce/talent management experience within IT is required.
  • Knowledge of large-scale internal IT systems or related technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks within the project and work with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing & dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
