Job Description

The role of the Developer is to support system design, develop and implement components of the application and program, and maintain and modify applications, programs, or system software. This role involves working under moderate supervision to design applications, functions, and programs. This role is a member of the Development team and reports directly to the Development, Manager

What you wil do:

  • Functions as an individual contributor and works under moderate supervision with clearly defined guidelines and direction
  • Collaborates with Senior Developers and the Business Analysis team to understand the system design and business functions
  • Supports senior development staff in completing gap analysis and analyzing impact of system software
  • Participates in internal solution design discussions with other senior team members
  • Documents software component specifications in detailed technical design
  • Works on Proof of Concepts as assigned by senior developers Develops code in accordance with the system design and coding standards with minimal supervision
  • Performs unit testing for the developed codes
  • Creates test data and scripts to support testing
  • Analyzes code to find causes of errors and revises programs
  • Participates in code review sessions
  • Demonstrates understanding of how software applications and programs are developed, deployed, and maintained
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of development methodologies, best practices, and procedures; and applies them to projects to ensure that development objectives are achieved
  • Demonstrates good understanding of agile/scrum framework

Who you are:

  • Experience in programming with Java and J2EE Technologies.
  • Experience in programming with VXML and CCXML.
  • Experience with Avaya, Genesys or Cisco.IVR systems.
  • Preferable experience with Avaya Experience Portal using Orchestrations Designer.
  • Experience with REST & SOAP Web Services technology.
  • Experience in Dev Ops Tool Chain (JIRA, SVN).
  • Knowledge in Microservices development.
  • Experience in SQL/PLSQL.
  • Knowledge of designing and developing IVR applications on Avaya platform.
  • Knowledge in NLP & Bot development.
  • Experience with WebSphere/Tomcat application server
