MindPetal is looking for skilled Business Analyst to work on a business re-engineering project using BPM products for our Government customer.
The candidate will work closely with the customer in understanding the current workflow, rules, data, and MS Word forms and templates being used. The candidate will then work with the project team and customer in applying the COTS workflow tool set solution to improve the customer's workflow and ability to respond to requests in a much enhanced timeframe.
Our project delivery incorporates cutting edge platforms and is executed utilizing iteratively defined requirements. MindPetal, is a dynamic, employee focused technology company providing solutions in the Federal marketplace to solve business based challenges. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hands-on experience in understanding and documenting the as-is business workflow; and developing a to-be business workflow and technology. Ability and experience with strong interaction with various customer levels ranging from executives to clerical staff so excellent communications skills are essential. The need to identify redundant workflow processes and data content with the ability to eliminate the redundancies while maintaining the business objective.
The position requires working with many MS Word templates and forms. So the ability to understand MS Word Templates and associated Macros is needed in order to create and execute a strategy for conversion to automated smart templates; including the development of any required associated logic and workflow. Strong attention to detail and an ability to create algorithms and logic (if/then statements and Boolean logic, generally) that corresponds to the business rules for completing a given template.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience.
The majority of the work is performed in our professional office setting located in Tysons VA with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities.
A professional dress code is required when working with the customer.
20% travel to the customer site within the DC Metro Area is anticipated.
