Professional, senior-level position responsible for driving the customer to success with specific complex projects and programs that they lead. This individual is successful when they have executed on a project and delivered a solution to the customer that reaches or exceeds the customers’ business case.
Additionally, provide technical leadership and project management for cross-functional deployment teams comprised of multi-disciplined personnel. Plan, conduct, and facilitate work in adherence to standard project deployment processes. Provide leadership and mentoring to members of project management staff.
The scope of this role requires a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
•Leads large programs or portions of very complex programs. Directs and coordinates the work activities of project team.
•Conducts needs assessments and requirements gathering for end-to-end solutions.
•Defines and develops program scope, objectives, detailed plans, budgets and metrics for large projects and/or portions of complex projects. Develops forecasts and proposes responses to variances and trends with the project.
•Monitor project execution to ensure all obligations are met. May pursue contract variations, when appropriate.
•Responsible for adherence to program plan and budgets for large projects.
•Recommends corrective actions and implements changes.
•Identifies and mitigates risks; develops and implements risk mitigation plans.
•Procures internal and external resources. Allocates project staff with required competencies to meet project objectives.
•Primary interface to internal teams.
•May manage challenging vendor relationships.
•Responsible for direct communication to relevant senior stakeholders. Leads moderately-complex communications and/or negotiations with internal or external clients.
•May provide input into proposal preparation, statements of work and specifications, and estimations of costs.
•Identifies and manages program enhancements and process improvements.
•Conducts project reviews through the life of the project.
•Perform other duties as required.
Required Education and Experience:
•Typically requires a technical Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and 10+ years of related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
•7+ years in a consulting or customer-facing role.
•5+ years in a Professional Services Sales management role.
•5+ years in the Pay TV Service Provider industry.
•Knowledge of Broadband Forum specifications.
•Strong technical knowledge of Linux and networking.
•Strong technical knowledge of software development (Java Enterprise Application and Open Source).
Additional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•Experience using Microsoft Office and Windows applications.
•Experience in identifying project process improvements and tracking progress.
•A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
•Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
•Effective at working in team situations.
