Informatica System Administrator

The EDM System Administrator would be part of a team that provides administration and operational support for a wide range of products across the Enterprise Data Management toolset, specifically in a Unix/Linux/Informatica environment
Ensuring products within the team s portfolio remain stable and that operational SLAs are maintained while having an input into the Tools Strategy/Technology Roadmap.
Performing Unix/Linux administration including changes, deletes, disk space management, application installation, and backups.
Performing computing environment build-outs, site setup, user training, hardware/software installation, maintenance and support, and documentation of operating procedures and processes.
Modifying Node Configuration Changing DB configuration, Port / Server Name changes
Server Upgrade / Migration, DR Setup and performing Disaster Recovery
Outages Handling, Password Changes, Bouncing Activities or Restarting the Services, Coordinating with DBA, Network and UNIX/Linux teams
Engaging other teams for patching and maintenance.
Performing daily monitoring of systems.
Involvement in planning efforts to research, design, plan and maintain new or existing hardware and software technology components for upgrade and/or possible product replacement.
3-8 years of systems or data tools administrator experience
Should have strong experience in providing system administration, operational support and problem resolution for a large complex Unix/Linux/Informatica environment
Should have strong knowledge of shell scripting
Should have strong experience on Informatica administration and installation process
Should have strong knowledge on troubleshooting the performance/failure issues
Experience with any of the following Informatica applications: AXON, Enterprise Data Catalog, Secure@Source, Data Quality, BDQ/BDM is strongly preferred
Hands on experience writing SQL queries
Ability to analyze & communicate root cause and remediation steps
Experience working in Agile methodologies is a big plus
