Specific Job Responsibilities: Conduct cybersecurity analysis and support of Army Cyber Command for the Joint Mission Operations Center (JMOC) within NSA facilities at Fort Meade, MD and in coordination with Fort Gordon, GA. Provide technical and programmatic support for hardware/software installations and upgrades, network support, and technical recommendations for future operations.
General Job Responsibilities Provides technical and programmatic IA support for network and information security systems. Designs, develops and implements security requirements. Prepares documentation from information obtained using accepted guidelines (e.g., DITSCAP, RMF, etc.). Prepares Security Test and Evaluation plans and provides C&A support. Analyzes policies and procedures against established laws and regulations and provides recommendations for closing gaps. Develops and completes system security and contingency plans. Develops, tests, and integrates security tools. Conducts security program audits and develops solutions to lessen identified risks. Evaluates, develops and enhances security requirements, policy and tools. Performs vulnerability assessments including development of risk mitigation strategies. Mentors mid-level and junior staff.
Individual Job Responsibilities: Oversees team that ensures that all data encoded and saved as computer files is guarded against unauthorized use. Ensures that security policies, procedures and directives of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual NISPOM DCID 6 3 and JAFAN 6 3 manuals. Manages experienced professionals in the fields of information assurance, computer security, information privacy and digital forensics in the development, preparation, implementation and maintenance of information assurance and computer security plans and standard operating procedures, certifications and accreditation activities. Maintains the oversight and compliance of existing information systems through technical reviews and system auditing. Interfaces with program management and clients on security requirements implementation, required documentation, and classification management. Provides information systems security guidance awareness and training and participates in customer security inspections and reviews. Manages, develops, prepares, implements, and maintains of security plans standard operating procedures SOPs and security test and evaluation plans Collaborates with internal security and IT staff to ensure the continued compliance and secure operation of accredited information systems. Keeps abreast of industry best practices and trends, as well as new technologies, and then plans and advises for implementation.Qualifications
Requires BA/BS with 10 years of experience with at least 4 years of management level responsibility. Incumbent has specialized knowledge in at least one area of expertise and a general knowledge in 1-2 other areas.
Experience designing, developing, implementing, and enforcing security requirements. Expertise preparing Security Test and Evaluation plans. Has provided certification and accreditation support. Experience developing security plans and contingency plans. Familiar with developing, testing, and integrating security tools as well as configuring and installing the tools. Skilled in conducting security audits and developing mitigations to identified risks. Has conducted vulnerability assessments. Edu/Exp: BS 12-15, MS 10-13. Phd 10+ Certs: DoD 8570 IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, or SSCP).About Perspecta
