Job Summary

Security and Safety is dedicated to providing quality leadership, services and solutions to safeguard people and the environment, secure and protect company information and assets and enhance operational efficiency. Special Programs Security Collateral Information Security Department provides quality leadership, services and solutions to safeguard people and the environment, secure and protect company information and assets as well as enhance operational efficiency for the Corporation. You will serve as the Information Assurance Specialist responsible for interpreting and applying government customer policies.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Interpreting and applying policies regarding data handling, computers, and networks in collaboration with internal and U.S. Space Force customers
  • Coordinating Collateral systems activities with internal Aerospace and government stake holders
  • Establishing, monitoring, and maintaining the overall security compliance posture under the Risk Management Framework from conception through decommission
  • Attaining and maintaining systems Assessment & Authorizations to Operate (ATO's)
  • Creating and maintaining Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) records for all Collateral information systems
  • Leading the classified incident handling process and overseeing the reporting and investigation of information system security related incidents
  • Facilitating data transfers for users between systems of like and differing classification levels
  • Displaying leadership competencies related to velocity as a part of our strategic imperatives

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Typically, 8 or more years of relevant experience
  • CISSP or equivalent level DOD 8570 certification
  • Experience with the RMF process, NIST 800-53, DAAPM, NISPOM, and related IA doctrine
  • This position requires a Secret security clearance, issued by the US Government and U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field
  • Have successfully taken a strong portfolio of systems through the complete RMF process
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise with eMASS
  • Excellent project management skills
