Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer/Officer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Laurel, MD. Roles and Responsibilities:
Seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer/Officer with experience working with the NIST 800.53, NIST RMF and XACTA. Familiarity with Nessus and Splunk are a plus. Security+ certification is desired. NGCIMSMD Basic Qualifications:
Shall have five (5) years experience integrating information assurance disciplines into the system design, development, integration, and implementation.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is highly desired which will be considered equivalent to four (4) years experience. A Master's Degree in a technical field will be considered equivalent to six (6) years experience. NOTE: A degree in Communications, Computer Science, Mathematics, Accounting, Information Systems, Program Management, or similar degree will be considered as a technical field. Security Clearance:
Must have active TS/SCI w/Poly Clearance Preferred Qualifications:
Desired - Knowledge of Federal, NSA, IC and DoD Information Security regulations, publications, and policy.
Desired - Recent experience with Defense in Depth principles and technology including access/control, authorization, Identification and authentication, PKI, network, and enterprise security architecture. This may include the development, design and implementation of firewalls, and evaluation, review and test of security code.
Desired - Ability to assesses and audit network penetration testing antivirus planning assistance, risk analysis and incident response.
Desired - Experience applying security risk assessment methodology to system development, including threat model development, vulnerability assessments, and resulting security risk analysis.
Highly Desired - Security+ certification
