Requirements of the Information Systems Security Officer:
- Review, write, and influence security policy and decision-making
- Create and maintain A&A packages including security plans and contingency plans
- Conduct technical and nontechnical internal audits and testing to validate systems and ensure compliance
- Document and implement security control requirements
- Prepare vulnerability test plans and coordinate execution
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 4 years of professional experience supporting ISSO tasks
- Risk management
- Vulnerability management
- POA&M documentation/management
- Information Assurance
- Extensive experience in large enterprise IT or enterprise security programs
- Security+, CISSP, CISA, or CISM desired
