We are seeking for an Infrastructure Project/Delivery Manager (DM) who is responsible for delivering high quality infrastructure build projects on time in accordance with FCA application and technology guidelines.
This role will be assigned to support build activities for multiple simultaneous global, strategic, cross functional projects that are complex and occasionally multi-year development projects. The DM will be responsible for assuring that best practices, tools, and infrastructure standards are being leveraged for all projects.
The DM s focus is on meeting project commitments, including communications with stakeholders. The DM leads technical activities demonstrating the ability to influence outcomes. Successful DM s have the ability to adapt quickly, problem solve and demand a high level of professionalism.
Delivery Managers will manage the planning of new server builds (virtual and physical), the replacement of old server hardware, installation of new hardware, server decommissions, and environment enhancements, and operating system software upgrades. Build sites include local data center and remote locations (travel to the site not required).
Duties include: manage build projects and schedules, coordinate completion of all build and configuration documentation, coordinate agile and expedited builds, manage server build cutovers, oversee software upgrade projects. The Delivery Manager will ensure server build documentation is correct and assist with troubleshooting any build issues during build verification and testing. Must have the ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
Manage vendor relationship and build task completion.
Hold resources accountable for deliverables, quality, and due dates, escalating as appropriate and necessary
Proactively and effectively manage project risk
Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure components and how they interrelate to form a cohesive, end to end solution
Experience with building Windows/Unix servers
Ability to deliver complex assignments in a fast paced, intense environment with minimal supervision
Demonstrates initiative to explore new technology, processes and methods
Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills with an ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner
A consultative team player that can assess conflicting view points and opinions but has an ability to rationally assess alternatives and clearly articulate recommendations to management
Proficient in MS Office, GSuite, Lotus Notes
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Exposure to ServiceNow
Exposure to Agile, SCRUM
Exposure to DevOps operating model
