Job Description

The primary objective of the Infrastructure Managers are to plan, organize, integrate and manage work of the specific infrastructure areas within the Information Technology Infrastructure department.  There are multiple positions available.

Requirements: 

  • 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience in the design and installation of information systems and hardware, including operating systems and network infrastructure, at least ten of which were at a supervisory level in a fast transaction high availability envirnoment.
  • 8-10 years demonstrable experience applying principles, practices and techniques of information technology management resources to most effectively meet project goals.
  • Networking, Data Architecture, System Administration, NOC, or Help Desk management experience required.
  • Telecom management using Avaya, CMS, and IVR in a call center environment.
  • Strong server management skills with Windows and Unix (Solaris)
  • Expertise with operating system architectures, characteristics, components, uses and limitations.
  • Certification and experience with network architectures and theory and principles of network design and integration; principles, practices and methods of systems/networks internet/intranet technologies and design concepts. Must be knowledgeable and experienced in the administration of Cisco network devices.
  • Ability to plan, organize, integrate and manage a broad range of technical infrastructure development, implementation and maintenance activities; identify information management issues and opportunities, analyze problems and alternatives and develop sound conclusions and recommendations.
  • Demonstrate a highly adaptable approach to supervision with ability to work in a fast paced demanding environment and prioritize dynamic, heavy workload with minimum supervision.
  • Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery requirements and solutions.
  • Certifications for Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, etc are a plus

Education:  BS/BA degree in computer science, management information systems or a closely related technical discipline
