Our Opportunity:

The Infrastructure Support Engineer is responsible to serve as a key member of development team for the compliance domain to support infrastructure and application lifecycle framework. The ideal candidate should have about 3-5 years of experience.

What you’ll do:

Provide Service & Infrastructure Operations support
Carry out incident and problem management support to the highest standards and co-ordinate the resolution with the appropriate resolver groups
Proactively detect problems related to service and infrastructure operations
Knowledge in the administration of any middleware servers and experience in WebLogic is preferable
Setup log management tools like Splunk, Tableau
Understanding the application functionality and domain by closely working with the business and tech team
Supporting, troubleshooting and maintaining web applications built using Java/J2EE technologies and Oracle PL/SQL
Creating Windows Power Shell Scripts and/or Python Scripts for automating application support requirements
Perform change management, configurations, design and implementation of the supported products and systems
Assist in the basic database maintenance, monitoring and troubleshoots problems
Create and run Oracle SQL and PL/SQL scripts required for configurations or application support
Technical documentation of support activities and analysis
May require to perform technical client communication
Nice to have Application support knowledge and working with Global clients
Ability to perform the work in an environment with changing and competing priorities by taking inputs from business partners
Knowledge of Scrum and proficiency in Jira, Confluence is preferable

What you have:

BS/MS in Computer Science or related discipline
Experience supporting, maintaining and troubleshooting J2EE/Java Enterprise Web Applications
Knowledge in message-oriented middleware products like MQSeries, application servers
Experience in Configuring, monitoring, tuning WebLogic domains in Cluster and high availability environment
Proficiency tuning work managers, data-sources & JVMs on application servers and experience in WebLogic is preferable
Good skills on JVM and its memory management, tuning, diagnostics and configuration
Proficiency with Unix / Linux with strong Shell scripting experience
Experience in implementing solutions in RDBMS and troubleshooting Oracle PL/SQL code
Having working knowledge in automated CICD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo
Experience in Webservers like Microsoft IIS 7+ versions.
Understanding of networking concepts like firewall, Load Balancer, DNS, IDS etc. for trouble shooting
Good understanding in ITIL process and ticketing tools like remedy 7+ version etc
