Job Description

Intellect Technologies has developed a reputation for delivering rapidly deployable, cost effective, web-native, and enterprise-level systems that support the dramatic productivity gains and the potential for expanded service offerings.

We would like to empower our sales team. Therefore, we're looking for an effective and inspiring entry level inside sales person who will learn about the Intellect products and services, and ultimately act as a Freight Fowarder application Pre-sales Product Expert.

The successful candidate will acquire the understanding and the skill to help our sales team demonstrate the value of the Intellect eFreight solution to our prospects, and to ensure that our customers maximizes the value of their Intellect Technologies purchase. The position holder will be responsible for building relationships and opportunities with customers in parallel to expand the effectiveness of sales activities, to build trust with all customer contacts, and to promote and maintain the integrity of the Intellect Technologies/customer relationship.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Learning of Intellect products and getting good familiarity of how the systems work
  • Ability to give on-line presentations to various prospects
  • Cold calling of freight forwarders, NVOCC’s, Logistics Companies and Shipping lines/agencies in any designated global region to introduce Intellect products and services.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing vendor relationship by periodic follow-up calls and distribution of current event materials
  • Secure appointments for call or visit to contacts determined to be qualified prospects
  • Obtain contact details of potential customers from sources including social media, industry lists, and professional networking
  • Conduct marketing surveys and email campaigns 
  • Manage complete sales process for SMB prospects fully to license execution
  • Any other miscellaneous tasks as required 

A qualified candidate will be an excellent communicator with good verbal and written skills, will have a solid understanding of sales techniques, and have the business aptitude to learn Intellect products and the international shipping industry to effectively perform as a Pre-sales Product Expert
