Job Description





This position is in the HP Print Services and Solutions (PSS), a startup organization inside of HP, with a focus on Auto-Replenishment Service (ARS) and Instant Ink subscription model. The PSS team leads the Internet-of-Things strategy for the consumer print business and is one of the top strategic priorities for the HP Print Business. HP Instant Ink, ARS (Auto-replenishment system) and digital assets are designed to ease and automate HP customer journey when purchasing Printing Supplies. You will join a lean and diverse team, responsible for testing, launching, and optimizing digital solutions for our print customers.

PSS Digital Assets Business Data Analyst


In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the analytical needs of the PSS Digital Assets team, including analyzing web traffic, interpreting data from various sources, and providing insights. The analyst will have deep customer understanding and empathy that they will leverage to make recommendations for demand generation, customer acquisition and customer retention.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage Current Business strategies by developing and maintaining holistic performance reports and dashboards:
    • Integrate data and insights across multiple platforms, interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques, identify core insights to provide a cohesive story
    • Forecast and explain KPI performance, identify gaps/opportunities proactively, develop recommendations to deliver quarterly business goals
    • Deliver monthly and quarterly business performance reports jointly with Finance team
    • Provide effective and persuasive presentations for program teams and business leaders.
  • Provide deep dive analyses, various customer modeling and segmentation to support business objectives:
    • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
    • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, promo targeting and other business outcomes.
    • Identify opportunity for and execute tracking for multivariate or A/B/C tests that drive improvements to customer experience.
    • Perform advanced ad-hoc customer analyses (value tiers, LTV, cohort analyses) and data queries.
    • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns across multiple complex data sets
  • Identify gaps in data and maintain data integrity across all platforms:
    • Validate appropriate tracking for E2E customer journey, identify gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements.
    • Drive data integration strategy across multiple platforms (web tracking, surveys, database, market research, etc)
  • Drive customer acquisition and improve retention:
    • Analyze raw data from customer surveys, extract actionable insights, develop resulting action plans to go after opportunities
    • Help Solutions team identify optimization opportunities (CRM/promo/POS strategy etc.) to maximize Digital Assets impact on Revenue.
  • Identify requirements and develop comprehensive BI solution as the Digital Assets program teams launch new assets (NPI-s)
    • Improve, revise, and develop tracking and metric reporting to align with the digital assets roadmap.
    • Identify business requirements synthesized from multiple sources including product managers, development teams and functional group members.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor-s or Master-s degree in any of the following: Mathematics, Data Science, MBA, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Economics or Science.
  • 5+ years in digital/customer analytics work experience (retail environment is a plus)
  • Tech savvy with predictive analytics and data mining models, comparative data tools, knowledge of statistical methods and analyses
  • Familiarity with Big Data platforms is a plus;
  • Highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership, willingness to learn, and desire to succeed.
  • Customer-centric mindset, able to balance competing priorities and to perform in new unstructured and fast-paced environment.
  • Story teller with proven records of delivering intuitive presentations of complex information and actionable insights to Senior Management, and/or to heterogeneous audience.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Expert in web analysis tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
  • Proficient in BI tools and technologies such as Splunk, PowerBI
  • Proficient with SQL, familiar with R, Python
  • Experience with other reporting tools such as Tableau, Qlikview
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills, fluent in English.
  • Works effectively both independently and as a member of a cross functional team.
