Bachelor's Degree required in Instructional Design, Distance Learning, Adult Education or Educational Technology. • 5 or more years of experience designing complex, instructionally sound training programs using multiple delivery methods (instructor-led, e-learning, virtual classrooms, media-enhanced, etc.) This includes the conducting of needs analysis, writing instructional objectives, recommending various instructional strategies, creating blended learning solutions, and integrating measurement standards. • Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design principles • Demonstrated competence with Adobe Creative Suite applications (i.e. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat) and a wide variety of instructional design and development tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, etc.) • Strong design sense as demonstrated both in print materials and online learning examples • Must be able to work closely with a team and also manage projects independently from analysis through evaluation • Strong attention to detail • Experience writing technical or medical content preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
The duties and responsibilities of this position include; designing highly interactive and task based sales and technical training programs using multiple media and blended approaches (eLearning, instructor-led, job aids and on the job support tools); developing learning objectives that align to strategic priorities; building collaborative and consultative relationships with subject matter experts, clients and peers; participating in defining and documenting learning needs assessment, data analysis, and recommended learning solutions; using raw content provided by subject matter experts to write scripts, storyboards, and design documents; creating assessments that align to course objectives; describing and documenting key concepts behind evaluation of learning effectiveness and determining impact of learning measurements. Design and development of incremental online and instructor-led learning programs and assets aligned with global training strategy, regional needs, and product launch support. Update existing training content to include recurring product and software enhancements.
